Fillings
Fillings at Willow Ridge Dental Care
Comfortable, tooth-colored repairs for everyday decay, matched to the rest of your smile.
What to expect
A straightforward repair, start to finish
The area is numbed first, so you're comfortable before anything else happens. The decayed part of the tooth is then carefully removed.
A tooth-colored composite material is placed and shaped to fit your bite, then hardened and polished so it blends in with the tooth around it.
Before you leave, your doctor checks your bite and walks you through anything you should know about the tooth going forward.
Afterward
Caring for a new filling
- Mild sensitivity is normal
Some sensitivity to temperature can linger briefly after the numbness wears off. - Brush and floss as usual
Your regular routine keeps the repaired tooth, and the ones around it, healthy. - Tell us if your bite feels off
A quick adjustment visit can fine-tune the fit if anything feels high or uneven. - Keep up routine exams
Regular cleanings and exams help catch new decay early, before another filling is needed.
